Our Sacrament Preparation is for any teenagers (6th-12th grades) and goes throughout the academic year. It incorporates the teens attending either EDGE or Life Teen depending on grade, a youth ministry retreat, and weekly classes. Our team journeys with you and your teenageR as they learn and grow in faith in readiness for the sacrament(s) of initiation they need!

Our Mission

To assist our youth to be fully initiated into our Catholic faith. Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion are not graduation ceremonies, but inductions into the larger life of the Church. We want to walk with and encourage every candidate so that they truly know, love and desire to serve Jesus Christ.

The Purpose curriculum focuses on three big questions - "Why believe in God?" "Why trust Jesus?" and "Why belong to the Church?" This curriculum is designed to be kerygmatic with an emphasis on walking a teenager from an unfounded belief (or disbelief) in God toward a commitment to Jesus lived out through the Catholic Church. Each session is supplemented with video that engages the hearts, mind, and humor of teenagers.

ENTRANCE INTERVIEWS ARE REQUIRED BEFORE BEGINNING SACRAMENT PREPARATION.

Registration for PURPOSE is $75 (+$35 for EDGE or +$75 FOR LIFE TEEN), with a 25% discount for multiple registrations from the same family (CODE: FAMILY25).
